also, we kinda strayed off topic, can you address brads point? The romanticization is there for all aesthetics. Workwear/Heritage tries to make you feel like you'll look like an anachronism for buying plain shirts and raw denim also. In the end we are all buying things for our own individual look. Of course price is a factor, and if you want to look a certain way bad enough you'll pay for it, it should be as simple as that.

Anyone who orders an XS gets a free carton of protein powder and a copy of starting strength inscribed with the rick owens quote about working out being modern couture.

I wonder if Blackbird would stock me if i wrote ridiculous sales copy.

I feel like SW&D, MC, and Manlets have been clashing so hard on this forum the past few weeks. The diversity is great though.

OK :( but srs protein powder in non-bulk form is a huge ripoff. Our cycling team ordered wholesale and got a wicked good deal. You should do that and start GRAPHICNOVELETLYS GOTH NINJA (AND CHEAP PROTEIN FOR SKINNY DUS) EMPORIUM!!!!!!

Would end up costing the same as a Rick tee at Blackbird

which jersey top? at the Project No8 sample sale a few months back they had a couple of his pieces and I was really tempted by these cropped pants but decided to pass. Now I keep wishing I'd grabbed them. facepalm.gif

Pfunks, PBR and riding around on fixies all day in the summer = atrocious body odor.

If I could find a shirt that would drape, feel as soft, with raw hems, twisted seams, soft collar, and fit the same with the same length as a Rick Owens t-shirt for less money, I would buy that. Instantly. There isn't, to my knowledge.

I pay for the design, the materials, the construction, the feel, and the fit. I could give no shit if the tag was Rick Owens or Bubbahotep's Black T-shirt Empire. I wear many different brands and will choose the one that fits my aesthetic and needs for the least price I can pay. Unfortunately, some of those needs are specific and sometimes the cost is high.

Clyfford Stills museum, YSL retrospective at the Denver Art Museum which is an awesome sight from outside.

Decent bars in Lodo, couple of clubs in the capitol hill area (vinyl and beta.) Brewery tours, obviously Coors brewery in golden, but if you want good beer head over to Avery in Boulder.  Boulder has a nicer downtown than Denver with the pearl st mall (pedestrian st not an actual mall). Places to eat in boulder I recommend lucille's (cajun brunch place) Sushi Zanmai (Spacepope works there) The Kitchen (gastro pub type).  You can get a mmj card in 20 minutes just about anywhere so hit up the dispensaries.

Don't go to casa bonita, food is absolutely vile.
