Backpacks are very practical, and i like that they enable me to carry most of my things without using my hands, but I'm kind of tired of the materials that companies use on their arm straps. Most of the backpacks that I've handled have straps that are really thick and really coarse. I get the reasoning behind this (its obvious) but I dislike the way that it rubs against leather and how it feels on hotter days.
So I'm thinking about a small overnight bag/really small Duffel. I also really liked the guidi bag moo&dmash sold. The only thing holding me back is that I'm short, so i need something with a handle, and I REALLY don't want to get into briefcase territory.
Worst case scenario: I've found a couple of cowhide and ponyhair backpacks that would make a decent replacement for my current backpack.
