do you guys think a sleek brown captoe is too 'dressy' for casual wear? say with a linen button up and chinos (never with something like jeans). i'm wanting a versatile brown shoe that I can wear with navy/grey slacks and chinos. i know wingtips would probably fit the bill better but I just like the sleekness of cap toes way better, especially for slack wear. i think they look fine but was wanting to hear a couple other pov's.

i think non-bulbously toed derbies would work better. or at least lighter brown captoes. my bro wears light bown park avenues w/ jeans and bizcaz style, looks pretty slick....

you want jl 7000s for casual wear?

something sharper and avant like corthays would work for that purpose, pair with sick velvet dinner jacket

Anyone have any suggestions for shirting? I want something a little more refined than BoO but want to wear it without having to tuck.

This would probably have worked a lot better if you wrote in Urdu or something.

Theory makes the best fitting jacket I've tried on. Any cheap places to find other than occasional gilt? Don't have $500 to pay for retail price but may have to just suck it up.

I'll admit that I bought a theory suit in a pinch simply because it fit me well and it was so hard to find anything that didn't have a retarded look to it in a 36S

I would suggest maybe a C&J Belgrave.

The black version of these Silent pants has been bought and returned so many times, I swear there's been a book written about them, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Damir Doma Pants.

Everyone needs to start stuffing notes in the back pocket, say hi to their next owner, etc. Also a good idea for pretty much anything bought on the SZ classifieds

My white CPs look practically new except the sole's a little dirty, and they've been to weekly raves for like the past 6 months.  They get dirty but I just wipe them with a damp paper towel if they start looking gross and they're all shiny again redface.gif.  Jury's still out if spending $300 on sneakers makes you insane or not though.
