it's not argyle itself, it's the general notion that argyle = awesome for people with no concept of patterns etc. just because it has a pattern it's seen as different and 'fashion forward' among mall brands and that is my biggest beef with argyle.

Maybe, but your average argyle sweater?  I mean, the same would be true for males - if I went around looking for 'stylish women' (especially a couple years ago) all my choices would probably cause a lot of eye-rolling on a female fashion forum too because I'd just pick cute/hot ones.

http://www.catalytic-clothing.org/home.html

Catalytic Clothing seeks to explore how clothing and textiles can be used as a catalytic surface to purify air, employing existing technology in a new way.

lol at that guy covered in stringy cum

liked this:

“Great men of style develop a sense of how to attune their appearance by learning what works for them, what they should avoid and what they could accentuate. It’s an act of self-creation, a coinage of one’s own minting. It’s no use trying to emulate someone else’s style and make it your own, but you should study others and incorporate. Propriety is one thing, and a certain sense of correctness is important. But it’s those individual details that make life interesting. Style comes from subtlety and from deepening the ordinary in life.”
