welcome snow smile.gif

Just went back to the MC thread where things are back to normal after my successful derailment (they admitted to not having had such levels of excitement in some time teacha.gif ) , this is fantastic even though I don't care for 3 button traditional jacket personally :

You beat me to it. This gives kinda mix feelings. On one hand, I don´t own any Spurr, so it´s not like on my favorite brands whose products I have is disappearing. On the other hand I always enjoyed the shows and what he came up with. The suits were fantastic, some great leather jackets and coats. Would love to get my hangs on that trench with leather sleeves.... so sweet.

This is not really a 3B, it's a 3-roll-2. The cut of the coat and lapel is the same as a 2B, with the top button being there for aesthetic purposes (primarily symmetry), and not functional.

yeah of course but i don't care the fact that there is a third button and accompanying hole is what I don't like. It's completely a personal quirk, and obviously I can appreciate it on others, mais pour moi, c'est 1, 2, ou bien 4+

Yea it's purely a personal preference. 3B generally look terrible IMO; but all my suits are cut 3-roll-2

I prefer jackets with only one button personally. No superfluous buttons dangling about and they usually have a lower buttoning point that suits my body type a little better. But I'm probably in the minority here.

uh oh, we are entering MC territory. The irony!

If I ever wore suits, I'd like to look like UrbanComposition. Great natural shoulder on that jacket.

The MC Casual thread makes me wonder how many of those guys are colorblind. And, for that matter, patternblind.

Well I just hope his assistants have places too go. The kid that puts together the Tommy Hil collection for Spurr needs to get credit.
