fwiw, brian_sd looks good IRL in band but it's not my thing and the whole academic hipster vibe of BoO i dislike in general.

Meh. BoO shirts fit me really well and it's not just a woman's cut or size down on jcrew gap kinda thing. Then again, they don't fit well on most people i've seen posting fits who just buy it because of the hype. If you're kinda skinny they can do wonders though. Never had any weird quality problems. Then again, i have 3 shirts that i paid an average of $90 for so i don't really care. Most buttonups i buy fit like asshole and/or i hate the collar. If you're kinda bigger, "regular real man" body type or work out a bunch you probably should pass though. It's sad that most people look like crap in them on the forums though

Also, red can work on white guysfine. Orange though is something i've never seen look really good on anyone but black dudes. Like the raf x fredperry stuff from the lookbook would probably look like ass on pasty white people with all that orange

With all due respect to the above affiliates: - MJK's latest, and presumably henceforth standard, shirt cut is completely straight (i.e. no tapering or waist suppression). This works great for some people, but it's definitely not a BoO fit. - Epaulet has, up to this point, made few shirts in XS. Again, this precludes a significant proportion of BoO customers. - WvsG has yet to ship a single product. I'm not saying BoO is all that (it's not), but "why anyone around here would even consider supporting Band" is not exactly a mystery to me.

^most of my basis come from the examples i see on here. i don't doubt that there are certain body types that would look good in band, it's inevitable. i was only explaining that what i have seen fit wise hasn't sold me on it.

I don't get why people who aren't the target audience for BoO (skinny people) complain so much about the fit, there are a lot more brands offering a full cut than those offering slim fits. And I've never seen any Band shirts come with plastic buttons. But I have had buttons come off and it really takes only a few minutes during commercial breaks to sew it back on

Also, why do skinny fitting clothes come in such large sizes? Is someone with a 40" waist really going to look good in 19cms? Or BoO XXL? Big guys wearing slim/skinny clothes just looks so off to me.

Were are you getting Acorn Fabric Oxfords?

Acorn is awesome.

Pretty happy with my MTM stuff, but I don't like mega slim shirts. My guy is also happy to taper arms and body when I've lost all my weight so it works out well.

Supposedly to look shrunken and you're paying for the cut though I despise the apron like front and rear flaps.

I love wearing all of my shirts because I have no complaints about any of them or any of my clothes for that matter. Anything I didn't like about anything I sold off (unless it was a change in style being the reason I sold).

Generally kunk's fits aren't bad (although I can only remember a few), the recent one with the (Raf?) leather jacket was a bit tight looking though

PS: I really like MoM's fit too, slightly less slim as my BoO shirts but the length is a lot better

Well I don't check WAYWT much (read: ever) so I don't have many fits to remember lol

I don't think I'd like anyone in that slim fitting of a jacket tbh, different strokes for different folks I guess.
