Yeah, I kinda like it. I was always a fan of this Dries look from s/s2010, for instance.

could it be fixed? I slimmed my trench down a bit. I always run into the same thing. tight arms/chest/shoulder, huge mid section.

How many pairs of jeans do you guys think is ideal?  I know some of you have like 15 pairs but I mean that would actually get plenty of wear.  I have two pairs (plus a cheap h&m pair), trying to decide if I should pick up a third or spend the $ elsewhere.  I don't mean blue jeans, any color/treatment.

Trousers and you need to be slim...probably a true 32 or smaller.

Depends on your wardrobe. You don't need more than two, unless you are putting together fits that call for a wash or cut that you don't have. If you have a versatile wardrobe and wear jeans a good bit, then you probably need some nice looking jeans, some worn in jeans, and one pair each of a slim and loose leg opening, for slim shoes and boots. But you can have two combinations of those and make it work. I like to have a loose-fitting pair for long flights and such as well.

If"worn-in"-ness is about being a lighter (s/s) color, I've found those jeans be easily swapped out for chinos IMO. But yeah +1 for at least one medium leg-opening and one small leg-opening.

I don't think it's about a lighter color. It's more about the ruggedness of the jean. It all depends on your style, but I've found that some fits (crisp button down shirts and brogue shoes) look great with fresh jeans, but don't work with worn in jeans with lots of fade marks, even if the jeans are still mostly dark indigo. But yes, if you have a lot of other options you don't have to worry about your jean selection being versatile. You don't need any jeans at all. Just depends on what kind of outfits you are using them with.

The best way to assess it is just look for a need. When you come up with a fit that calls for jeans, but you don't have the right pair in your wardrobe then go get a pair.

To give cudi credit, it'd probably sound way less stupid if he was talking instead of having what he's saying being written verbatim, if that makes sense. Complex needs to learn how to edit interviews.

i like the look too but you better be fit as fuck, or skinny, to pull it off. any love handles showing at the top of the tuck will kill it.

I always thought the t-shirts tucked into trousers on web shops was just to show the trousers. not a fan of the look.
