And do you shorten Les Miserables as Lay Miss? Because in Angleterre we say Lay Mizz.

I understand it's a distortion but you wouldn't want them dragging it out Hermèsse would you?

Anyway it's been a lovely afternoon.

If anyone's going, pick me up a green breast pocket wallet while you're there.

I don't know if you want a real answer, and frankly we're both tired of this conversation, but if you do : the "s" at the end of Hermès is an "ss" sound (/s/ in phonetics, • • • in morse code, Sierra in military terms) while the "s" in Misérables is a 'z" sound (/z/ in phonetics, – – • • in morse code, Zulu in military terms).

They said air-mezz when I went to the boutique. Kanye says ur-mezz shog[1].gif

my boutique says it err-mess. H is silent and there is no accent on the initial e.

I know the è doesn't make an 'a' sound simply because I've learned a bit of french, thus I believe this to be correct.

This is all child's play anyway, moving on.

Ann Demeulemeester

Walter Van Beirendonck

Dries Van Noten

And none of that French accent please.

Aren't these just pronounced how they're spelled?

well you could go wrong with anyone of them still.

example: demeulemeester, is the 'meul' part pronounced like 'mule' or pronounced like 'mull'
