Have to second the white jeans opinion. I'm pretty skinny and they look decent, but you have to expect the stains/smudges to accumulate throughout the day. Not that they bother me. If you have any excess weight at all, they look pretty bad. And there are a lot of other things they can look bad with

I'm on the hunt for nicely and accurately pre-distressed denim and from my research and pricepoint the most viable options are japan LVC models, some dior homme (mostly the japan models, but some italy), and hysteric glamour. I would love to try on some hysteric glamour to get an idea of the fit before I gamble away $400. I like that their washes are very intricate and realistic, while not being over the top. The studs on the pocket hem on most models don't bother me too much, though I could do without it.

I think that's why I go cream > white.

I own two different pairs of cream jeans that I love to wear during the summer, but I leave one pair to stay clean and the other to actually wear in depending on the context.

It's not that I necessarily like wearing dirty clothes, but a few spots and some wear just looks better with cream jeans since you're not going for that crisp Newport bro look with fresh whites.

It's really not the satisfaction of getting fades that I'm on the hunt for. I have a pair of flat heads and a pair of new standards in my rotation, and a pair of ndgs that need repairs. I love the patina of some pre-worn jeans (faded raws included), and there are only a select few companies that do it correctly and accurately. I love when companies like lvc really nail the distressing, or when companies like dior do a really sweet wash with small details only noticeable when up close. I dunno why, and I'm probably one of the few people on here or in general that really like stuff like that. I think it has a lot to do with the processes behind distressing. I'll watch videos from spottedhorsecraft, a denim distressing studio in Japan, even have owned or purchased vintage or beat to shit levis just to study how they faded. happy.gif

OMG did you see the new season? I went last night and snapped some pics. The colors were flawless but the camera didn't pick up the colors, so they're in sepia unfortunately. Also, they only had sz 52 blazers in stock, which is NBD 'cause it's only one size down from what I normally wear.

I used to have a pair of white jeans from uniqlo. I guess I still do somewhere.

In the beginning I thought they were too white so I washed them in some coffee that had a lot of milk in it teacha.gif Then after a normal wash to rinse them, they still look like white jeans, just not blindingly so smile.gif

I have some white jeans from Spurr, but as soon as I washed them the leather patch on the waistband bled all over them. They weren't thinking when they put that patch on. Apparently they've changed it though. I couldn't get the spots out, so I ended up throwing some white fabric paint on the front of the jeans. They look alright.
