This was the beginning of the end for my savings account a couple years back. I dropped a grand for a new transmission and within a few days of getting it back, I had to replace both my front and back brakes. Having to drop $1,600 in a week on something like that when you're in college and already responsible for all of your monthly bills is shitty. But on the hindsight is 20-20 tip, those expenses prevented me from buying this Apolis Activism knit that I would no doubt despise now.

They're taking a (mild) risk and doing a huge favor to their customers, but I don't want to see them get burned by it.
Yup. Anyone who's frequented SF long enough no doubt remembers all of the ruckus with certain brands becoming privy to vendor discounts on their product.
