Went to the new CDG store here, it's an all in one multi-story (5 or 6 floors?) complex of CDG, not as good as the one in Shinjuku but some is better than nothing...
They didn't have the full line, which was pretty surprising, they actually only had very little compared to what CDG and 10CC in Tokyo have.
Biggest disappointment? The eYe X Vanson perfecto jacket in red leather - the leather on that thing was absolute **** and they want $2200 for it over here. It wasn't even passable quality.

Saw Pavement show last night. Was epic. Relevant to the forum because: - It was the first night it was cool enough to wear my vintage Schlitz jacket (passed down from my dad, who delivered Schlitz in the 70s), which is my favorite article of clothing (sorry, Samurai 710s and SExSC06s) - Guy in the line at the merch table was wearing the same Silver Jews AA tee as me - They played "Frontwards", which includes the lines "Well I've got style / Miles and miles / So much style that it's wasting" - Friend of a friend was wearing Pumas that were clearly styled after German army trainers (albeit very heavily branded with the Puma name/logo) - Walking past a bar (on the way to a different bar) later that night, I overheard someone say something about hipsters in cowboy boots with mustaches. Since I was wearing cowboy boots, I felt obligated to point out to him that, in my defense, I don't have a mustache. In retrospect, though, a mustache would probably go pretty well with the cowboy boots. Also, Founders Breakfast Stout is pretty great for breakfast, particularly whilst hungover (relevant to the forum because I'm currently hungover)

shirts kinda suck, but the outerwear is pretty uniformly amazing. that duffle that was just posted in the B&S is excellent, would seriously consider if my climate allowed

edit: referring to NC, not *** host fashion awfulness
