For shipping to other countries, what do I declare the value as? Really low or actual value?

also, fedex is telling me it's going to cost $70? doesn't this seem really high?

use USPS

gahh. was really trying to use fedex as I can walk to fedex but would have to take a buss to ups and I'm busy as hell this week.

~Edit~
ups says $50. really not worth it for a $50 blazer.

Can you fit it in the "large" flat rate box? otherwise yeah that's probably an accurate quote, and then you'll send the quote to the interested buyer and they'll never PM you again. I don't eff with international, maybe if I ever sell something over 1k

It's a super lightweight blazer. It could fit in a large envelope, which is what I selected on the fed ex and ups websites. just not worth it.

it'll be about 20-30.

A sweater, a warmer jacket, and a pair of boots. You want a lightweight knit cap and some gloves as well. I love NYC in January. We'll miss you this year though, since we'll be in Florence instead.

I don't think that price is correct. Just a few days ago I sent a pair of shoes to Germany from Boston for $32. The package weighed 4lbs, and I assume your blazer will be even less.

Did you check USPS (as in, the near-bankrupt government entity)? Usually cheaper than the commercial carriers. Take advantage of it before the bottom falls out and they stop delivering mail entirely.

I went to see my doctor the other day, he tells me "Look, you've got an enlarged liver," I told him "Well that's great news because I drink a shit-ton!"

not UPS go to USPS, the postal service

It will probably fit in an envelope and will be like $10-$15 un-tracked un-insured, just go in there and ask them what is the cheapest way to ship this international, and then fill out a customs form
