Gimmeshoes.com has a much more complete line of F+B at better prices. Anyone tried on the 745s in person and can give me some information on how they fit?

Well in some cases it does, I size down on my jizz crew shirts and they do in fact fit slim, and they're still long enough too. Makes me happy .

Saw these at Blackbird today, beautiful color (kind of like faded denim) but I didn't like the shape, the heel is very aggressive, and the leather is very stiff

^Shame, I'm still on the hunt for something similar to those albeit at a much lower price point.

Problems come in with, like, shoulders. At a certain point, you're going to have a shoulder seam sitting in the wrong place and it's going to look goofy.

I will wear an M or L forever, no matter how much I weigh, because my skeleton is just whatever dimensions it is.

Anyway, yeah. Cut and size are not the same thing.

True, people have been saying this for a while now. There are a number of guys that confuse a slim fitting shirt with a normal shirt thats two sizes too small and it makes full grown men look like they shopped in the boys department. I must disagree though when it comes to some sweaters and cardigans, particularly those with small to invisible shoulder seams, the fit with those can basically be as subjective as the wearer wants. Also, I think it's not so much sizing down as it is getting your 'real' size when it comes to a lot of things, on the flipside of the guys wearing too small clothes, many guys will buy clothes a size or two bigger than they are because they simply don't know any better and see other guys like them wearing similarly large clothing and therefore think it's a 'proper fit'.

Even the original poster defended me. Russian truckers are total badasses.

I'm conditioned now to think it's okay to spend $200 on a flannel shirt. But I don't think I'll ever be with the mindset that a $340 flannel isn't insane.
