One thing though, with all the talk I'd love to see people walk the walk, no point having the greatest theories if you don't put them to practice, I'll add that sometimes I see the ones who never post WAYWT voicing the strongest opinions on fashion, which does make me scratch my head as to whether they are practicing what they preach.
I'm always amused that when the few who preach (by and large) nothing but sharp criticism finally post a WAYWT, their fits are shockingly bland.
I've been going through the WAYWT thread here and there for a few weeks instead of being a productive member of society. Some observations:
- SF sure used to love their Nudies.
- Willy Cheesesteak tempts me to stick with peasant brands, though I wouldn't make them look half as good as he does.
- Whatever happened to Ken? He was a bit before my regular posting days, but he was always good for a solid fit and a laugh.
Robbie- A lot of that looks like stuff you already have and wear. Green oversized military parka, yellow slim pants, white button up, grey cardigan. What is that watch? Looks like a bulova accutron one of the old models from the late 60s early 70s (tuning fork ones). I wore a 1969 one this evening to a partyso it looked familiar Also, i don't know what too modish to not have a tie means. Doesn't need a tie especially with a milsurp parka. Seems like you'd do better with some work and no tie rather than shiny loafers. Not sure i really get that hypothetical fit
