erm...

Two things I like in fashion lately:

- Taichi Murakami. Hits the same sweet spot as MA+ (a brand I love, but I'm priced out of), about half the price, and a bit more fun and sporty. Awesome fabrics, I love how the collections are pretty small and iterates on a couple designs rather than re-inventing the wheel each season. Some people may call that lack of innovation, but I like the focus. Wish the pants fit me a bit better
- Boxy jackets and coats. I feel a bit more "anonymous" when a jacket or coat hides my proportions. I like that. This is easier in the colder seasons, but come springtime it's harder and harder to find the right fit - it's either too warm, too frumpy, or made of a fabric that is likely to collapse in on itself. Luckily I enjoy the hunt

Twi things I dislike in fashion lately:

- Paul Harnden. Stop raising your prices. Stop. It's the exact same jacket you released two years ago for double the price. Stop.
- SLP. Dior Homme ended at just the right time. All the "signature pieces" are just so obnoxious, they look like clothes designed to be worn by LA brats to Coachella. The cuban heels are pretty cool but the quality is a bit shoddy considering what they run. Some of the classics (coats, jeans, etc.) are well-executed, but do you really wanna get into this brand for basics? The leather jackets are the one highlight for me - I'd considering picking one up if I didn't dislike everything else about the brand. On the flip-side, I don't see a lot of Balmain anymore so maybe I can pick up some biker jeans cheap..

Speaking of DH, I'm still waiting for KVA to leave.

I posted about this in RP, but guys, if you like classic rock at all, check out @AlexanderTG's album, it's seriously so fucking good. I'm a sucker for a good guitar solo and there are quite a few tracks which are essentially just great guitar riffs. If anyone thinks I'm heaping praises due to Styleforum nepotism or whatever, it's definitely not true and it's legitimately one of the best albums I've heard recently.

Thanks again and rock on.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Tmadd's a pretty weird dude. He's an old sufu denimhead. He once posted photos of a Mister Freedom chambray shirt that he had worn about a hundred times without washing, and it was one of the grossest things I've ever seen.

Not good for getting shoes and pants and flattering jawline angle tho

You've got to be sneaky about it. Like don't mention your shoes, just stand next to something and say, Wow, what a wonderful landmark/sculpture, be sure to get all of it in the shot!

Yep. My gf gets all freaked out and says "you look so serious".

I try not to ask too often. It's surely a weird feeling for all parties involved.
