We're going Wednesday and coming back Saturday afternoon (3 nights), so we have Longman & Eagle, Eataly, and pizza on the list for lunch, and Gibson's, Intro, and dinner/food in Wrigleyville after a Cubs game for dinner. Anything we shouldn't miss in late May?

Also, any good whiskey bars and/or cocktail bars? And anywhere to smoke a cigar in the city? We're staying at the Raffaelo if that matters (so Drumbar is on the list at some point), but a good bourbon bar or cocktail/cigar bar rec in the city (and preferably not too far away) would be great.

Thanks!

my favorite bar in chicago was the velvet hour but i would go somewhat early or pretty late. Huntsman didn't like it as much, but i would put it in my top 5 bars. also the aviary (by achatz and friends)

i also really loved just having the dessert course at Tru

Thanks again for everyone's help!

There's a place called Bad Wolf Coffee a couple of L stops west of Wrigley. It's basically a one-man shop run by the ex-pastry chef of Schwa. I've never had anything less than amazing bread and pastries from there: the Kouign Amann and Caneles deserve special mention. Try to get there before lunch, stuff comes out of the oven between 10 and 11 and doesn't last long. It's mad casual, with metal band posters on the walls and only has a single high table to lean on.

Oh and in general there's a great strip of restaurants on Randolph street in the west loop. Favorites of mine are Maude's and Avec. Also JP Graziano makes a mean sub if you're there around lunchtime.

Ko is good. Also check out the Tasting menu at Brushstroke.

@GraphicNovelty All those choices are really good for Nashville. Husk is insane, so its Hattie B's. I think you got a great plan, just stay aaway from Broadway unless you want to be swept up in shitty Bachelorette parties.

Shake shack in madison square park is being redone right now. Idk when it's gonna open up again.

I get rid of pants pretty regularly. Just picked up three new pair of pants from the tailor today, and will be donating three older pairs.

I want to say only 1 out of 3 of the pants came out perfect. I'm already feeling an itch to replace the two sub par pairs. Constantly experimenting, wanting to get that exact inseam length dialed has been the holy grail of my sartorial journey.

Tabi socks are uncomfortable.  I can't imagine how tabi shoes could be more comfortable.
