So Jil is back at Jil, Hedi is at back YSL (men AND women?), and we don't really know about Raf but it looks like he's going to do Dior (women's only), is that about the size of it right now?

EDIT: Raf Simons ‘Unlikely’ To Head To Dior :uhoh:

I briefly lived in Boulder. Possibly the worst place to start a fashion blog is in Colorado. Boulder is no exception.
Hedi Slimane news is interesting of course. I didn't read the whole thing yet but it seemed to suggest he's going to oversee both the men's and women's lines, right?
Edit: indeed that seems to be the case.

nah. provo, utah.

Here's a quick attempt, barring the omission of words I don't know:

Designer Hedi Slimane, the former artistic director for Dior Homme from 2000-2007 will take over creative direction for YSL, succeeding the Italian Stefano Pilati, sources indicated saturday.

His arrival, for which there is no exact date, should breathe lively creative interest into the brand, whose sales continue to increase. "He will become the new director of YSL," and "the contract has been signed by the two parties," said the sources, who added that the nomination of Mr. Slimane should be officialized during Paris Fashion week, scheduled to run from Feb 28 - Mar 7.

Asked by AFP, an employee of PPR had no commentary on this information.

Darling of the fashion world, Hedi Slimane, now 43, experienced explosive popularity at the end of the 90's, revolutionising men's fashion with the introduction of a slim, ultra-modern androgynous silhouette, featuring skinny black suits and cropped jackets.

Copied by ready-to-wear brands around the world, it was he who introduced slim pants, which were massively popular with women, and which young fans adopted in a spirit of rock n' roll.

In charge of the men's collections at Dior from 2000-2007, Slimane turned Dior into a brand of note. This handsome, brown-haired, blue-eyed man of Tunisian-Italian descent, has never designed women's collections. But he benefits from the admiration of the "Old-Guard" at YSL, affirms Women's Wear Daily, notably Pierre Berge and Betty Catroux, the former muse of the label's founder.

Although he directed Dior Homme, Slimane occasionally produced, in extremely limited quantities, skinny women's looks that were immediately snatched up.

Since Autumn, rumors have circulated concerning the departure of Stefano Pilati, whose contract will reach its end in the next few months.

Suzy Menkes, respected fashion journalist for the International Herald Tribune, had previously affirmed that he would be replaced by Belgian Raf Simons.

These speculations were dismissed by YSL, but were revisited last week, when the German brand Jil Sander announced its separation from m. Simons, and that the founder of the label would, after an 8-year absence, return as head designer.

Slimane was, for a time, considered as a possible successor to John Galliano, who was shunted from the brand after accusations of racism and fined 6000 eu. for his behavior.

Considered by his peers to be one of the most influential designers of his generation, Slimane returns to the prestigious house where he made his debut.

Arriving in 1997at the head of YSL Men's collections, he left, celebrated, in 2000 after the re-purchase of the brand by Gucci, and the arrival of house designer Tom Ford.
Since his departure from Dior, he has installed himself in L.A . and dedicated himself to photography, focusing on images in black and white - and plenty of photos of rock concerts.

Did I get all of it?
