I've heard rumors that there might be another of you in a holding cell in Egypt. They don't know what to do with him and his wild and zany ideas besides lock him up. For the safety of geobaskets.

geobaskets are kind of hideous but I somehow end up wearing them almost everyday because they're warm and have a zipper. also rick goes with more rick

Just PMd nn, but in case that doesn't work out and someone else can get this for me, I really really want this one

If you can get the other floral Mapplethorpe crewneck one or the Sol Lewitt plaid that'd be cool too

I already got mine, the Jackson Pollock one had a full size run in the European online store. It's on its way. :)

I also got another one from the same collection but from a different designer (the Sol Lewitt plaid one kindofyoung is referring to above).

I ordered a Navajo ring from the US and ~3 weeks and 1 customs charge later it arrives and I find they've sent me a slightly different ring, 2 1/2 sizes larger than the one I ordered (and way too big for my hands)

Honestly, this is why the upcharge from someone like Self Edge is worth it.  Either way, you pay.  I prefer to pay upfront.

Dude, it's common knowledge that Navajo rings grow in the mail. But luckily they're unsanforized, so try soaking it for a day.

Yeah.  I already have a bracelet from Self Edge.  I was trying to diversify :o.

If I get any more Navajo pieces I'll probably order from Japan.  Sounds dumb, but Japanese stores seem to buy the good stuff (ie. more wearable / fashion friendly plain silver pieces, fewer kitsch and turquoise / gem encrusted things) compared to the US shops, and if the retail is slightly more than the US, it'll even out slightly given I can control what I pay in customs to the UK with a shopping service.

I got a Fernando Puhuhefvaya ring in Utah when I was 16 and have been wearing it since. He's Hopi; the imagery is similar due to the (often troublesome) proximity of the tribes, but different enough that it will stand out a bit from all the Navajo appropriation you see in Japan. I recommend his stuff highly and it's priced well due to a complete lack of hype.

Even Japan's Native Americans are cooler than ours
