Not an expert, but If you're interested, there have been a few interesting articles about what it meant, I guess, when it meant something - HBA's roots in vogueing (Jezebel), the movement's general link to both late 90's rapper style and, more recently, the (black) lgbtq community (sorry, dont remember references). Then it more or less became someone who wears HBA and/or wants to look like Kanye.

Now it doesnt really mean anything as far as I can tell, the way hipster doesn't mean anything. Primarily an Internet catch-all for every variation of whatever you want to call lame.

@RegisDB9 I have yet to hear a single person give an actual answer as to what a fuccboi is other than "you'll know when you see it," "if you don't know what's a fuccboi, you're probably one," or some shit like that.

If I recall, "fuccboi" originated from Japan as "fakkuboi" or fashion boy. It was then brought over to the english speaking world by rapper, ASAP Rocky, hence his song titled, fuccboi. So what exactly is a fuccboi? you ask. Well it's essentially any guy wearing any relevant brands in a loud manner, regardless of whether or not there is branding on it. Think Hood By Air, or being dressed head to toe in exclusive Supreme collaborations. If the person's entire outfit, and it must be the ENTIRE outfit, screams of subcultural affiliation to certain brand aesthetics and influence from name dropping in songs, then you have a fuccboi. You can wear head to toe goth ninja stuff, and not be a fuccboi so long as it's subtle, but to go fuccboi, it needs to be loud.

If Yoox merges with Net a porter, what happens to The Corner?

Picked up Geller 5 year denim. My wife takes one look and says the wash reminds her of what everyone wore in rural CA in the 90s. I think awesome, she thinks terrible 90s. Context, I guess.

I feel like the relevance of Supreme is grossly exaggerated by fashion bloggers

^Probably right. But you have to remember many of those guys grew up on that about ten or so years ago. It was like a gateway drug of sorts. I still recognize usernames of posters from that pre-hypebeast who get a notable amount of reps/thumbs now, and barely look or dress like they did then. There's lots of nostalgia there.
