Just not in public.

Yeah. Here's how to do it right.

At least I think those are yoga pants. Possibly jeggings...

I never understood these pictures where the person is smiling in one version of the picture, but looking down in the other. Do people simply lose all confidence in them selves after the first smile?

We started sampling for a special project with Monitaly.  I'm excited.  I should probably not, but here are a couple of teaser pics:

I had pants like that in high school except they were acid washed indigo.

I had been wearing suits for work the past couple years, but still rotated a couple different old pairs of faux noir and noir New Standards on my days off and evenings. New job doesn't require a suit, so I started wearing them everyday again. But then the crotch on my noirs started to go out for the second time, so I ordered a pair of S710BKs the other day from 2nd smile.gif

That would be pretty awesome too.

These are made from recycled military tent canvas, and overdyed black.  The production model, which I hope we'll get into pre-order in the next couple of months, will have tonal black thread.  I just got a pair in the original olive drab - super comfy and durable, and they look pretty awesome with both boots and kicks.

Browsing chain stitching artwork on Instagram and found this

Chain stitching and chenille patches have long been American traditions, but recently embroidery has become co-opted and has launched into the high-fashion zeitgeist.

Clothing designers like French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela (with their embroidered couture pieces based on the designs of American tattooer Sailor Jerry) and the Paris-based label KTZ (which frequently includes similar patchwork on their garments) have been a part of this trend. But the majority of the patchwork is computer generated and manufactured and divorced from the original tradition.

In 2014, American outfit The Chain Gang enlisted fellow creative Isaiah Toothtaker to assemble a body of work paradigm for this art form.

The Chain Gang is an East Los Angeles-based collective of 3 industry veterans. With over 20 years of experience, they are masters in the art of hand-cranked chain stitch embroidery using only vintage machinery. Throughout LA's car club and biker scenes their authentic pieces and iconic garments have helped shape the culture's identity.

Isaiah Toothtaker is a Two-time felon and polymathic artist from Tucson Arizona. He's released over 9 albums, edited and directed multiple videos, regularly produces paintings in several mediums and recently had a book of emoji designs published. Approximately 13 years ago he learned his primary profession of tattooing, under the tutelage of then Tucson chapter president of the Hell's Angels. Toothtaker is the owner and operator of renowned tattoo shop Staring Without Caring.

Toothtaker's extensive history with violence and criminal activity makes his perspective on this art form more unique then the average interpreter or appropriator, possibly his is the most sincere. He used his experience and knowledge to design this collection in the aesthetics of classic street gangs as well as reaching into the stylization of tattooing to develop the expression.

By joining with The Chain Gang to construct this collection they have produced a statement truest to the American tradition that many different clothing labels fashion themselves after.

Possibly the most impressive heritage cred.

I still wear my nerdy denim, mostly Sugar Cane. Are you asking to see who's still around or because you have a specific question?

Raw denim fetishism has definitely calmed down and moved to denim-specific forums, but I still appreciate what those companies do and how insanely detailed they are. Much of the Japanese denimhead stuff works really well with EG, visvim, Monitaly, Blue Blue, Kapital, Post O'Alls, etc. I feel the thing that keeps it from being similarly appreciated is that the shop styling, tumblr shots, and WAYWT posts are typically awful or straight up cosplay.

Must be the weather here that made my hair frizzy. I have curly hair past my shoulders and the ends are frizzy. What do you guys recommend?

Also, anyone pass by the SUPREME store in LA and look at the line? Supreme X Undercoverism drop.
