Is it just me or are small stores just terrible in service these days? Up until last fall I never had an issue and almost every purchase was pleasant. Recently it's endless for me. Sale stuff being oversold is common but not hearing about it until days after shipment / being charged is a bit off. If it wasn't in stock when it was packed, wouldn't it just be mentioned then or the next day? Just can't seem to get anything I order correct from various stores. Whether it is stuff being oversold, missing parts of items / missing items in shipment, express shipping paid (with stated 1-2 business day handling) only to have it ship a week later, security tag left on pants (with no action / response until I send multiple emails and I still don't have my SNS pants from weeks ago), emails stating refunds will be processed but then a week delay until they are (plus 2-3 days to show up on CC), "hacked" prices, and / or just no response to emails nor phones. I want to spend money but can't get a response asking for measurements? And then finally getting through on phone to ask and being told it will be sent to you but never get sent.
Feel I'm pretty reasonable but how do you guys deal with this? I've had to go out of my way to work with half these stores and others I don't even bother as it's not worth my time or hassle. Maybe I'm just sad since my first trip to In-N-Out in months resulted in me getting a soggy ass burger and cold animal fries stuck together.
Also in what day and age is UPS Ground expedited shipping?
