It's aways sad to see something I wanted sell on Ebay for considerably less than I offered on here. Not only is the guy selling for less, but he's also paying fees.

I would have bid, but was out of cell range :\

coco why would you get rid of dh man

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I just grabbed a pair of the Uniqlo ones to try. Might pick up one of those pairs of Levis as well. Do J-shaped denim/pants lend themselves to that sort of fit? I'd imagine Attachment would be too slim (never tried Attachment denim), but maybe Zams?

The Uniqlo PBJ are nice but too much taper IMO. After wearing them for a few months I don't like them anymore.

I like a 7" to 7.5" hem.

The PBJ is well below 7". Limits the footwear you can wear TBH. Dude who still boot tuck would like it I assume.

18cm or 19cm is pretty good. 8" hem is actually not bad either if you got a good break in the pants. All my dress pants are at least 8" and appear to be pretty slim still.

I dunno. The hem on my 34's is exactly 7", which I find pretty much perfect, 7.5" hem is about as big as I go, but I have narrow ankles.

Most guys waist here are like < 32

I def didn't see them hem on the PBJ that aggressive, isn't carrot shaped. I did size up one though and I'm a fatty who got a 35.

edit: Toasy ah I see what you mean. size 33 and under prob have super tiny leg openings, make sense. Well they are fatty approved at least.

I have a 32 and the hem is really tiny. Also it only works with boot tucks

I'm pretty happy with apc, ns in my sz is around a 7" hem and hipster is around 8"

dont like to venture much with denim out of that range
post #105911 of 109053
hate how apc don't stack right
that's a fair point, it doesn't bother me that much since I like to hem them to just 1 good break, but yeah...

Jet - I thought you were all about APCs, jeans wise. You can hem 'em if they won't stack right.

Otherwise, what do people recommend in lieu of APCs now without getting too denim heady. Jean shop?

I wore APCs for a long time but I don't like the low rise

Same here. It was almost an awesome cut but just a little overboard in terms of taper. I gave up on APC PNS for the same reason.
