I do think the kanye collection deserves at least some discussion but i kind of don't know what to say about it. it's ok; some good looks. i see a mostly-cohesive vision, but it's pretty basic in concept, a post-apocalypse streetwear thing. i would wear the high tops.

^ Yes, and the discussion is pleasantly short and simple…. derivative and boring. Kanye is an assklown. I would never buy anything connected or even remotely connected to him.

On Hypebeast, they showed it as fifty looks, fifty! It was unnecessary but it appeared as if he wanted to show individual pieces more clearly. I think his first women's collection in Paris was better, far more refined. This felt very influenced by Haider Ackermann and Alexander Wang, and maybe some apc here and there. Probably the only thing most people seem to like are the new shoes.

Full disclosure - I have a "Juicy Men"'s terry fleece top from when they first started making the men's line, before "Dirty English".  In 2003, iirc.  The thing is seriously comfortable.  Not gonna lie.

In other news I was at an assembly at one of my schools today, and it was called the "No C Campaign." Basically they had a DJ and lots of rap music to get the kids pumped up to get A's and B's. There was a shmoney dance competition. I would've won if they let me compete. Anyways, the prize for getting all A's or B's? A trip to Disney World. My mom whupped my ass if I got a B, and my reward for all A's was like a bowl of rice and some durian cake or some shit.

Oh, it's actually a trip to Disney World with a local Atlanta rapper. Kids basically cried when the program people asked if they wanted to go to Disneyland with Rich Homie Quan or 2 Chainz or Migos. Can you fuckin' imagine going to Disney World with 2 Chainz?

Last year, another one of my schools got Gucci Mane to talk at a career fair. Some people were mad. One parent said: "How do you justify bringing someone who is not even at the top of his game in the rap industry, who has a rap sheet because he's been in so much legal trouble?"

Daaaaaamn, Disney World with 2Chainz? nice. When I was little, all my school got was a visit from the president, and mayor several times. Gucci Mane, and 2Chainz though...

I can't say I'm a paragon of kopping discipline, but I try to focus on whatever it is I like more about the item I want or whatever I like less about the lesser version. I've stumbled across the band-collar version of the RO jacket I want a couple of times and have managed to convince myself that I'd ultimately be unsatisfied and it would be redundant with the ToJ moto that I'll ostensibly get back some day.

It's actually derived from early modern English (before spelling was standardized) and can be interpreted in two ways: The first, a question when acquiring a new vehicle, "Canst Y leace" or "Canst I lease", weighing the options of buying vs. leasing. The second interpretation is one of career choices, "Canst I liaise," contemplating an employment opportunity acting as liaison or representative in negotiations (possibly in some capacity related to ADR).

Now that the thread has been properly foodificated, maybe it is time to get back to the age olkd debate of pho versus ramen. I vote pho (more subtelty in the broth).
