I wonder on which forum the same guy posts pics of white guys in skirts and dramatic coats...

And yeah walking is both boring and slow, pretty much the same reason I got my longboard (though it got stolen last summer so now I just walk/bike like everyone else)

It was really bad in RI/CT/MA and Long Island.

NYC is a relatively small area so even a slight change in wind direction kept the storm from hitting the city hard. Most forecasters acknowledged this as a possibility but in the pre-storm hype it kind of got lost (and of course, if something doesn't hit NYC, it doesn't happen at all).

Wasn't too bad, but I got around 9 inches where I live.

What is "really bad"? I saw parts of MA had 6-8" and that seemed to be about it.

20+ inches here which is a lot for the city. Visibility seemed pretty bad yesterday, atleast from what I could tell from my apartment window.

I think we got about 25" here in Somerville (i.e. Boston). Pretty much snowed for 24 hrs straight, maybe even more. Non-emergency travel banned (no roads, no public transit), schools closed for two days, work cancelled for almost everyone I know in the area, supermarkets getting mobbed in the days leading up to the storm.

I passed the time making Irish stew with friends and drinking very heavily. It was like getting a 2-day stay at home winter vacation. cool.gif

You like it, the hyperbole? foo.gif

Sometimes I feel like people here see me as a caricature of my own posts. This stings me a bit, but it is not an unfounded realization among the online fora. Truth is people are free to do and dress as they wish, and I am free to mock or applaud as I wish. In turn they are free to pass judgment about my sense of being, at least online. It is all fine.

Well, then, your online persona was born middle-aged. I'm sure it has nothing to do with who you are in Real Life.

We are all living as part of the StyleForum Matrix. What is real?

Are you ready to be fooed?

Do you want the Uncle pill or the Nephew pill?

My name is miran, for we are many.

For anyone who doesn't know, kohZO is a cool denim brand, and it's done some pretty innovative shit.  I think that it was one of the earliest brands to use washi in its denim.  From what I've seen, it's the denim brand of choice at goth ninja stores.  However, here is a good example of why sometimes, a brand should just stick to its products, instead of hiring someone to makeover its image.  This is for the SS15 collection, I think, and it's succeeded in making the brand look like an upscale GStar raw.  Upscale because the prices are higher, and the dude is wearing some baller boots instead of some Diesel looking sneakers:

Well, I'm a pretty nice guy in real life I would say. And I like poop jokes. So there's that, which is nice.
