Dropped a ton of stuff off at the tailor rather than induling in more new SS

FINALLY taking @Synthese and LHBs suggestions to taper a few of my pants that had been disturbing my fits via sloppystax

Also has anyone spent time describing their sale item so much that you start having second thoughts about selling it?

What about cuffing the denim?

Essentially, there is no way of stopping this.  I suppose that if you wash the jeans a billion times...  Indigo is a naturally unstable dye, and the darker the denim, the more it will likely bleed.

Wearing washed denim with a pinch roll has me wanting to go full 80's. Need to dig up my starter jackets.

I list something for sale at $80, you offer me $75, I'm not gonna sell it to you simply out of spite.

Talked with a friend today who is into fashion (as opposed to me only wear practical clothes) about some fw15 collections. She said people wear Lemaire better be old-money.

30% of the asking price is sorta ridiculous.  I generally ask to do an immediate deal at 25-30% off the asking price.  The counter typically starts at 10% off, and we generally settle at 20% off the starting price.  To me, that's the typical discount that a good retailer will extend to long time customers, so it seems pretty reasonable to me.

I don't get people that hangout in normal clothes around the house.. The moment I step inside my place I'm in PJs.

Who's especially strange are the people who have no idea how to haggle. So they make an offer, and I counter-offer something closer to my original price, and then I never hear from them again. I've actually pursued people who revealed to me that they just didn't agree with my counter-offer. The concept of a back-and-forth was foreign to them.

Yes! That happens all the damn time.
Asking 100
Get an Offer at 50
Counter at 75
Never hear from them again

This dude that just offered me FIVE FUCKING DOLLARS below asking price, I send him a counter for $125 and he countered at $17. Now I actually like him.
I mean obv I would be fine selling it to him at 75, but shit, it's just clawing for any dollar you could save. If he offered $70 I would've taken it straight away, it was just coming in at $5 below what I'm asking is just dumb.

Hey man, add 2 more bucks to that 5 you just saved and you can get a bowl at chipotle
post #104624 of 109053
True. Maybe he wanted a new pair of pants bit didn't want to sacrifice that hot n ready pizza.

Lol. I just got another offer for the same amount (75 on an $80 item) from somebody. I know it's one of you jerks.
