Just don't know anything about the fit, but I'm assuming it's all pretty slim. Also, I usually don't care too much about "quality" (I always assume quality is decent and find that most differences are negligible) but when it comes to $600 pants I kind of want some assurance lol.

I own quite a bit of Lanvin items so I hope I am qualified enough smile.gif
Most Lanvin fits a size big (Trousers, Shirts, Jackets). Lanvin often has skinny cut trousers, but of course depends on the model. Biker trousers (which they have each season) are very skinny, but usually require a size down for the waist.

Quality is good to very good, but nothing really outstanding though. Most trousers will be made in Romania.

I'm pretty sure that might be the most overtly racist eBay listing I've ever seen.  He's got great prices but damn.

IIRC the story as told in the Geller thread is that there's a repeat scammer from that area who has tried to nip him on several occasions

I've got three pairs of Lanvin trousers (c2011-13) and there is no way I could size down on any of them.
They fit TTS throughout, IME, and the cut is on the slim side if anything. For clarity, on all of mine the waist is 17.5-17.75 inches on a size 34.
YMMV.

I agree about the quality & price -- I haven't been disappointed by any of the Lanvin I've bought, but I probably would be if I paid MSRP for it. Their winter-weight and distinctive/embroidered/etc. trousers are creeping up to the $2000ish mark these last few seasons.

yeah, this was the reason. synth, don't sell the Ann crow coat. i don't care if you don't wear it. and if you don't, why the hell not?

anyone got good recs for a scarf in the $100-range that's warm and primarily black but not entirely black? can be new or from b&s/ebay/whatever. any suggestions are much appreciated.

faliero on sale can be had for ~that, cashmere/wool/silk blends. and zam uses the same fabrics (his claim). if you wait a bit more you can find denis colomb which i feel is really nice. PoTN had some heavily discounted. i want the nepalese one, or something with yak in it, but i already have too many scarves i think.

Pretty much this.  And in the scheme of things, it's sorta low (i.e. not urgent, no one is going to flip out if not taken care of immediately) priority on a fairly long list.  But it will happen.

I can't actually change out the picture myself.  I need to get someone at Wikia to do that, or maybe get specific instructions.

Cheers,

Fok.

hmmm...faliero sarti always seems a bit frilly to me. feels nice but the look isn't so much my thing. maybe if i found the right one though. denis colomb might be a good call. probably headed toward schneider because they're so good especially for the price, but not sold on any particular one just yet, at least not that I've seen. merci!

OUTRAGEOUS

ok cool, thanks.

a little alarming to hear that changing a forum banner is so time-consuming that it needs to be prioritized
