Random fashion thoughts - Page 6865

A random English person opining on what foodstuff is "English" is sorta like having a random American suddenly being the arbiter of things American.  So, not quite as bad as a random Chinese guy being the instant expert on Kung Fu, but not all that far from there.  There are plenty of foodstuffs that the average 20 or 30 something would have no memory of that actually an important part of the food history of a region.  Food falls in and out of favor very quickly.

What I mean is that a lot of the stuff - the good stuff - lends it self to a @nicelynice
 - ish mode of dress. Sure, you can't style MA+ like an asshole and expect it to work, but just for an example, I tried on a BBS leather (I don't usually like BBS) and would have happily walked out the door in it had I also been carrying 5 grand in cash. Same with a pair of low-cut MA+ back-zip boots. My point is maybe that you shouldn't be afraid to go out on a limb and try something awesome just because you like it.

I have to say that my favorite spot was M.A.C., which somewhat amusingly stands for "Modern Appealing Clothing." They have a super cool buy, and also a super cool staff. Junya, Dries, CDGH+, EG, all this stuff that wears really well together. And the store space is really cool. A good mix of what was being discussed earlier - curated but with enough whimsy to make the experience entertaining; more so than at the Archive. Sadly, they did not have the Dries biker pants I wanted in my size.

Both are, obviously, way cooler than Barneys etc, which manage to be boring and (imo) unfriendly, by virtue both of staff and layout. I never really know what to do with myself in stores, though.

And of course, both pale in comparison to the wonder that is the downtown Angelic Pretty boutique (0), which is what I wish the interior of my spaceship looked like.

You check out any Russian stores in the Richmond? If not you missed out bruh bruh.

My wife's Christmas presents (Marni coat and a Eugenia Kim hat) both here and accounted for.  Daughters dolls are done.  Wife is in charge of getting stuff for our boys.  I have to get my brother something for the family gift exchange, and then we are done.

I have a toaster oven, but when you use it to make toast it only heats up one side of the bread... Unless you put the bread directly on the racks instead of the tray? But then you end up with crumbs all over the bottom...

"But man is not made for defeat," he said. "A man can be destroyed but never defeated." - Hemingway.  Also what a coach always said before sending us into the cage.  Man had a knack for a pep talk.

There is always a tray in both a toaster or a toaster oven that you have to dump regularly anyway.

Are you guys saying there's a way to toast bread in the toaster oven that avoids having to flip the bread over midway? Serious question.

Toaster ovens have both a heat source from the top and the bottom.  If you use set the thing to "toast" and set your bread directly on the rack, both heat sources are activated, and you get a nice toast.

Toaster ovens have both a heat source from the top and the bottom.  If you use set the thing to "toast" and hate your brad directly on the rack, both heat sources are activated, and you get a nice toast.

My master/lover/friend's family own a home on beach front property on Mustique.

Now, I don't believe they have ever "rented" it out...but I know his family will be there from 27th until after New Year's...and will be away in Australia from January 14 to May....so I assume the property will be deserted during that period...other than our intended trip in March for some beach-front pounding...so yes, it will be empty during the last half of February?

Shall I enquire further for you, Habitant?
