I take a medium. They have a tiny bit of room, but are not snug, just like in the fit photo of the v neck.

No pics, but just a very generic fold in half then tuck one end through the loop. The fact that it's a really big scarf just makes the knot nice and substantial.

So boring. But yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Yup, US embassy. Good shout on the book. I'll pick something up at the station.

i got an open container violation back in june, which i plead guilty to for $25 dollars. they never cashed the first check and my summons was back in september because they never got my payment. well, apparently, they printed the wrong address on the ticket, so the check was lost in mail. i told them i was not physically able to make it on the date because of a gout attack, so they pushed back my summons to november 25th and told me to send a new check. i did that back in september, but they still haven't cashed either check and there has been no mail regarding the summons.

do i have to physically show up to the courtroom to get anything done? this is really fucking annoying.

got an open container violation last summer, did nothing about it, ignored all court summons etc...after missing multiple court dates etc finally called in August to deal with it and it had already been dismissed. they don't/can't actually care about something so small

Wow Grailed is charging 3% now per transaction and I was never even notified of this change. This is in addition to regular paypal fees.

The FAQ section states they are "free for all users."

I might actually try to dispute these charges. Who the hell do they think they are, charging fees without telling people?

Rad, thanks.

RFT: I just ordered some boots for my GF (Danner Stumptown Mountain Lights), and I'm pretty sure I'm more excited about them than she is. I find this vaguely embarrassing for some reason.

They were free before? How do they make money?

Previously they had no additional fees and even covered fees for a period.

Now they skim an additional 3% off the top of each transaction.

I'm going to shut down my account tonight. It's not so much the fees but the fact that they never even notified me of this change. At this point the site just becomes ebay BiN jr.

What do you mean by an extra 3%? Is that sent to you via an invoice or do they just take it out automatically after the buyer pays you?

Your paypal account automatically pays them when you receive money.

Didn't happen to me. I got paid for an item last night. According to http://thefeecalculator.com/ , i ended up with 12 more cents than i should have gotten. Not sure how accurate that site is though

Additional to what? To other fees or to paypal fees. I don't think that paypal can auto charge fees to you without permission fwiw. But I would expect Grailed would charge something - and 3% seems pretty reasonable. But with ebay, fees are billed like a month after the fact, and they own paypal, so this insta-fee business doesn't make much sense.

The paypal/ebay divorce is coming though.

As far as I can tell and I have now made multiple sales through their site, fees do not come out for Paypal. I just went back and checked 2 most recent transactions and while I paid a % to grailed, I did not have a fee come out to paypal. So it's not in addition to pay pal's fees as far as I can see. Honestly I am not even sure how they circumvent that but whatevs.
