Motherfuck the shirt I bought for a wedding this weekend I think just got shipped to a super old address in Ohio even though we spoke and he said we could meet in Brooklyn to avoid shipping fees.

How's the quality on those Arigato sneakers? Looking at the white lows.

That's like saying you hate puppies or IPAs. I recognize that they're not for everyone, but they bring so much happiness to the world.

It sounds like at least some of the EPNY shirts will also be dartless going forward (although a few minutes with a seam ripper would probably suffice if you want to let the darts out).

The WvG after dinner cut with monkey arms might also work (or before dinner if you're willing to let the darts out).

Way lame. Did you confirm that he's actually dropped it off and hasn't just printed the shipping label?

Last item I sold on B&S, I had a guy message me using different accounts (eBay, SF, etc) each time trying to haggle me down to the same price. Different names also.

Each time I politely declined while laughing at his attempts. And it sold to someone else ...

No idea but the sole is from the same manufacture as CP's etc., so can't that bad.

And I've silently resented you for it ever since. nod[1].gif
Warning: beer talk! (Click to show)
My feelings are actually somewhat more mixed on hoppy beers. There are many I love, but I feel like for a while breweries were trying to max out IBUs at all costs, creating palette-wrecking monstrosities for the sake of being extreme. I also probably drink more dark beer on the whole, and I kind of hate it when a brewery ruins a good porter by dumping a shit-ton of hops into it for no reason (I'm looking at you, Avery Out of Bounds Stout mad.gif).

I definitely hate IPAs. I'll keep an eye on the EPLA and EPNY shirts. I thought the WvG shirts came with three arms?? I only have two.

Wrote two messages pleading him not to send it. We'll see when he writes back.

I really hope he just hit "shipped" to end the case, but didnt actually ship it.

Still worried.

Yeah, but they left the 'hand holes' on two of them sewn shut, so it's really just the one all-purpose sleeve in the middle of the torso that you can alternate sticking your arms through one at a time.

IIRC, depending on the service he may still be able to recall or reroute it as the shipper.

if you can, i'd upgrade asap. i made the same jump and there's a noticeable difference in grind consistency. also, the capresso has a pretty crucial design flaw where a significant amount of grounds stay in the grinder (there's a term for this, but I forget what it is) unless you really make an effort to pick the grinder up and whack the back of it. the "chute" or whatever from the burrs to the basket is horizontal rather than being slopped downward so lots of stuff just sits there. in other words, if you're not making an effort to get the grounds out of there, you're drinking a lot of yesterdays grounds.

IPA's are good with spicy food but they overwhelm pretty much everything else.

Excessive Hoppiness in microbrew beer and excessive brightness in independent coffee are two awful contrarian trends that need to die. Yes we get it, you're not the "big companies" that you define yourself against, now please make something drinkable.

Don't move to Kent if you dislike hoppy beers - ours are renowned for being very hoppy (probably because we once had acres, upon acres of hop farms and you see converted oast houses everywhere). Despite being a Man of Kent born and bred, I confess to preferring something with more malt and less hops. Theakston's Old Peculier this evening...

I do enjoy the odd IPA though - American beer wise Shipyard IPA and Sierra Nevada are easily available in bottles here (I have a fondness for Sierra Nevada's Torpedo). English IPAs vary from the restrained (e.g. Greene & King IPA to the more traditional Indian IPAs.
