This is funny b/c it's like the academia version of a commercial using a punk rock song against the band's wishes. STOP COOPTING ACADEMIC COOL, VISVIM.

R.I.P. OG Tiger Fleece + White V-neck + N&F Raws + Clarks
Was the daily outfit for 2010.

Do you guys get "why are you wearing dress pants" a lot when you guys wear pleated or flant front pants?

oh i wanted to mention that the discussion about big john tapereds from 3 days ago introduced me to a jean i'm pretty sure is my optimal jean measurements, so GDL, yes, someone out there wants a mid-to-high rise jean "with heritage and craftsmanship" that at size 28 to 30 has approx. a 7" hem.

So sick of Rick quality
Gotta be the worst price/quality disparity of any designer. Not one pair of Rick pants I own hasn't seen a trip to the tailor.

Yeah, I've heard that one.

Once I got snarky comment about wearing a "suit" when I actually wore a hooded short wool jacket by COS, a white OCBD and a pair of Ute Ploier wool pants in the same color as the jacket, along with sneakers.

How many of you NYC dudes have checked out C'H'C'M' ?

It seems like they stopped selling online a couple of months ago, but they always seemed to put up nice stuff on their IG but would never put them online anyway.

Is it worth checking out if you're in town? Is it all just their in-house label now or do they still stock other brands?

Another throwback--just today received an ebay'd pair of Nom de Guerre jeans. Fuck your raw edged textured knit wool/linen trousers, these are fantastic.

Lots of credit to M. Chaotix, we met up not too long ago and swapped some stuff, got one of my favorite pieces, a drkshdw long hoodie from him.  Doesn't change the fact that Baltimore is on some entry-level NYC ten years ago shit.

I have been wearing my pair of size 33 (and they are loose. unless you are as commited to a really loose top block as I am, get your regular size is perfect, size down 1 if you like that Portland hipster circa 2010 look) and they are really a nice jean.  Perfect fit with my Visvim Gris mocs.

Last time I talked to Sweetu (May-ish?) he said he didn't buy from anybody this fall/winter season. He is pretty much doing his own house label but I think that some of the pieces are in collaboration with some of the brands he used to stock (I saw Arpenteur and Death to Tennis tags were in some of the store's FB pictures). Some of his older sale stock will probably be on racks in the back. I always make it a point to at least stop by when I'm in the area because I like the atmosphere and Sweetu is a cool guy. The in house stuff will be available in the beginning of  October if I remember right.

Just picked up some double pleat trousers from the alteration tailor. Not sure how I feel about them. Picked them up on a whim when getting a jacket altered.
