Everything I've ever ordered has been fine, I think some stores are just a little neurotic with the A/B/C/D thing.
Most stuff I've gotten that was B/C could mostly pass for new and the worst I've ever seen on a D item has been some pilling, unless specifically stated in which case they will have close up photos with circles drawn around everything

I only buy one brand though and have only dealt with a small handful of stores

My experience with rakuten is been exceptional. Never had any issues and everything I've received has been in excellent condition even if it states otherwise.

FWIW, I've gotten some pretty crappy C items, but I suppose it's all subjective.

There were some reports a while ago about Rakuten customers getting their credit card information stolen and sold to thieves.

But if you pay via Paypal, it should be fine, as no sensitive information is passed to Rakuten or the seller.

I think this is how I would rate the quality system.

S=new with tags
A=new without tags or only tried on
B=excellent to very good condition
C=worn in good condition, minimal wear any condition issues will be pointed out.
D=worn, noticeable wear some garments will usually show wear depending on fabric.

Only issue I've ever had with Rakuten was when stupid hotmail had me reset my password so I couldn't confirm an order but it all worked out.

Tried on the Lemaire robe coat, really nice piece. Totally recommended for any aspiring Sith lords and/or warlocks

You're on a fashion forum complaining about people taking a fashion accessory seriously?
