My friend is applying for a job, and she's REALLY nervous about the results, which are due this week

I think it would be fine if you made it obvious by the end of the email that it was joke - ask her to do something ridiculous, like that they want to her to measure 17 individual hairs, or time herself walking a mile backwards. Or mention alien abductions, whatever.

Normally I'd say go for it, but with the job market the way it is (getting better, but still meh) that's just downright cruel. Some people are hinging everything on a certain job.
But it's still hilarious.
