^there are always exceptions of course

Oxnard- Agreed, I almost never instakop and I wasn't saying geller and others are hype just that the line in general and select pieces do get super hyped. There are wonderful poell pieces I'd love to have for instance but I think people who generally do not know what they are doing hastily cop like you said without any calculations.

I don't think I'd ever buy a sweater/knit online over $60. I definitely would have to feel it in person. Everything else I'd be fine with. Just to

posters with good taste in jackets shirts etc. sometimes put up footwear that has me thinking WTF? I must be pretty damn picky, but I'm having a hard time finding attractive boots that aren't $5 bills+ Oh yeah I'm basically a member of SuFu and SZ to use their B&S. Eventually I'll find something great after sifting through 3 pages of $1000 black shirts held together with bondage tape. SuFu is just to annoying to post alot in.

You also see ninja brands on the classifieds a lot because people buy them second hand or on sale because they're getting a good deal, even if the size isn't correct. Then when they realize it doesn't look good to wear ill-fitting clothing, they sell it again.

GQ is a joke, I can't stand how in any given spread 4 out of 5 fits will comprise the use of a tie.

Nobody besides jkissi wears that **** for casual use.

Do alot of people on this site read GQ? The one time I read it on a flight it had ads (alot) for Sperry Topsiders, Uniqlo etc. Also a bunch of ways on how to be a "man's man" and all other cringeworthy bullshit.

I really like hoodies, cardigans, and the like, but hate how the material usually bunches up and juts out in the front near the bottom when you sit down.

Hype is a very dangerous beast, it shows up everywhere, hell its on Styleforum as much as Sufu and SZ, the biggest difference is that the brands hyped on Styleforum tend to be less expensive and so bad kops aren't as regrettable. What boggles me is the lifestyle of some of the people who have such high turn around of pieces. Poell is a great example, the line produces some beautiful pieces, however, regardless of how much money I ever have, I cannot fathom being comfortable with spending two grand on a pair of pants made out of paper that could fall apart at any given moment.

No, SF's B/S is mostly full of cheap stuff that people realize they're unsatisfied with (JCrew)

This is why I love two-way zippers.

There is definitely plenty of hype on here as well and until people are able to see and try things on in person as well as go through the trial and error phase it'll only conitnue since they rely on others for information.

Jcrew is merely a steppting stone or a gateway like apc. I only have a few apc pieces that I continue to use.
