A friend of mine just turned me on to this site. Has anyone shopped on there before? Any good recommendations of sellers?

I have a few friends who have apparently gotten "too big" for Etsy. They certainly weren't bragging about success as some of them have fallen on hard times since and are again starving artists but claimed Etsy still wasn't worth it. I never bothered to ask for more details as that is not really an area of interest of mine but I am picking up a friend that is a vendor at the Urban Craft Uprising in Seattle tonight to have dinner and I will ask why she thinks Etsy sucks.

I love Etsy, all I have bought is a cool dog tag pendent. Some of the leather goods are unbelievable, there is some guy who makes these unbelievable belt/holster type things with pockets for $250-500.
