Fridges

Need to buy a fridge for my new place... the developer put in kitchenaid II appliances (stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave) but has left the fridge up to me...

Any ideas of resources for researching fridges? Reputable retailers (esp in metro Boston)?

I'm looking for a quiet unit since its an open-plan kitchen, and I'd hate to hear the compressor while watching a movie. Would also like stainless steel to match the other appliances.

Otherwise, I'm open to any ideas/suggestions...

Go to your local library and check out recent Consumer's reports.

Yale Appliance, just of Morrissey Blvd 5 miles south of Boston. They have nearly everything worth seeing. Bought a Kitchen-Aid there yesterday, in fact (no shit).

No-commission salespeople, all pretty knowledgeable.
