Tell No One (French film)

Apparently this made a big splash when it was released (2006). Did anyone here see it? I watched it tonight and was floored. Takes the thriller genre to a new level. Cluzet looks exactly like Dustin Hoffman.

That good, huh? It was on the (my) list for a while. I eventually forgot about it though.

Very intricate plot, plenty of twists, excellent acting and great soundtrack. Definitely worth the 2 hours.

It's a french take on the American thriller. Entertaining but that's it. I, of course, knew the bad guy within 5 secs of him appearing, but if you don't know french actors I guess it's better. I haven't seen it since it came out, I guess I could rewatch it. Note: it's a book adaptation.

I thought it was more than entertaining. Maybe "takes the genre to a new level" was a bit too emotive but it was well-done. I didn't know the actorz.

It made a splash in the U.S. as well -- well, as far as foreign-language films go these days. Not a bad film at all. Great supporting cast.

There's an English-language version being made.

It's ok, but the chase scene is brilliant. Had to rewatch that immediately.

I saw it when it came out.

It's first-class.

Great movie, and I agree with the poster above who commented on the chase scene (which also forced us to stop and re-watch). Certainly one of the most enjoyable films I've seen over the past few months.

badly written and predictable 4/10
