Pretty sure you can do this in software such as Wolfram Mathematica http://reference.wolfram.com/mathematica/ref/Pi.html

Yes, that will give you the xth digit for Pi. I can generate the Xth-from-last digit of Pi. That is a big difference and something, I think, that Mathematica cannot do.
