Where do you like to vacation? Skaneateles, NY was surprisingly beautiful. A great deal of old money is still centered there...a lot of 19th century lakeside estates and dowdy old country clubs. It's not East Hampton but it is as nice as Central New York gets.

I am going there next week.

I prefer Santa Cruz.

How the fuck do you pronounce that?
NY towns have some very strange names.

I believe it is "skinny-atlas". That is the way my host pronounces it.

Favorites: Hilton Head, SC. Carmel, CA Chatham, MA Vail, CO Where I usually wind up: Galveston, TX Panama City Beach, FL ( ) Not bad if you stay to the west toward Seaside or Rosemary Beach, just not in the same league as the others.

Honolulu. Chill at the beach, drink at Dukes, hot girls walking around in bikinis all around.

nightlife sucks though.
