Its hot as balls these days...

Ok so I know a lot of the people on this forum wear suits on a daily basis, and Im dying here sitting with no shirt on and a pair of shorts. Stepping foot into the scorching sun causes me to drip more water than a waterfall and I couldnt fathom waltzin around in anything more than my undies.

How do you manage to keep cool in this warmth

Then again, I guess it depends where you live. Its about 30C here which is 86F, which is probably normal to some.

Ice suits?!?!?!

86F? Try 101F over here in Florida. I guess the material in what you wear help bear with the heat. Chambray and linen shirts are a standard over here along with shorts.

Testicles are located in the scrotum away from the body so that they are approximately 2 degrees cooler than body temperature which is better for sperm production. I take issue with your title.

Technically.. In my neck of the woods, with a maximum of roughly 35C on an average day, and the body temperature being 37C, my title is accurate. I cant even comprehend 101F... My head almost blows up trying to wrap my head around how thats possible.

I'm here in an air conditioned office, but I just got a picture text from a co-worker who had to go to a project site in the desert. The picture was of his car's thermometer...107.

Even in CANADA its hot... 93F here in Vancouver. Feels like 102 with humidity.

For 30 straight days. 107 one; at least 4 or 5 at 104/105.

It was 122 on July 4th in Waco, and 125 somewhere else in Texas.

It's like that down here to prepare Republicans for what's coming in the afterlife.

86 is for lightweights.

100 is normal in Georgia in the summer. It's usually during a heatwave, but I can't remember a summer where we didn't spend at least a week at 100+. This summer has been relatively mild, and we broke 100 for a couple days in June. During a particularly nasty heatwave a couple of years ago we were up over 105. It's one thing to have that kind of heat in the desert, but it's another thing entirely to combine it with Southern humidity.

Florida was even worse. It didn't get as hot as it does in Georgia, but the humidity made it absolutely miserable. Georgia can get humid, but there's nothing like Floridian humidity.

So... doesnt it get a little wet and warm inside those suits? Sonick, Im a little south of you. Not south enough to be an America, but south enough to feel the warmth coming out of Vancouver.

Bastards. It's been rain, rain and more rain over here. My band are booked to play an outdoor show this Saturday. Guess what the forecast is.

Isn't there some kind of law that lets people take a day off when the temp hits a certain level? I'd hate to be working outside where some of you boys come from.
