Place the steak on an extremely hot grill (whether with the flames or otherwise) and sear for 60 seconds. Then rotate anywhere from 45-90 degrees for another 60 seconds then flip and repeat. It only needs to be rotated once per side. Then pull to the side with no heat (so you don't add to your sear/crust) and close the lid to bake till the desired doneness.
And I'm not kidding about the 60 second thing. I use the stop watch on my cell phone to time each steak.
