Would have liked it more sans the 300-esque child fight sequence that seems to be popping up everywhere these days. Eventually there will be a slow-mo child-fight montage to rule all slow-mo child-fight scenes.

Looks like fun.

I like that they weren't afraid to use that title.

Will watch. I like cheesy action films; although they can't be too cheesy.

saw it on thanksgiving. went with my folks and wife. they wanted to see Rain who is a first time korean for a main actor for a US movie. i thought it was fun. well-made movie. a bit too violent for my mom and wife though, they were shocked at the first decapitation.

^ Rain. Rain. Rain. The only reason to watch this film. Was he any good in it, Show?

yes he was very good in it actually.
i always liked his style in the korean shows and such (i think he is a little overrated as a dancer though) but i love his demeanor and looks; it really makes him perfect for these kind of hero characters. plus he got really chiseled.

i think all he's got to do is just improve some more on his english (which will come im sure) and he will be getting more parts like this i hope

^ Awesome. I was just going over his filmography and had no idea he was in Speed Racer. And for the record, I haven't really been blown away by any male Korean dancers. I find acts like the Wonder Girls much more entertaining -- they have better songs as well.

he was surprisingly good in speed racer. it was nice to see him in that role. his english was very bad (obviously phonetically practiced and it stood out) in that film but his part was substantial

i love Kara dance group. i think it is their latest song "Mister" ? im not sure, but the one where they do a butt swing in their dance, i love it. so cute. such a plethora of 'cute' girl groups these days oversaturated, but i love Kara

^ I think the problem with Rain's dancing is he can be a little stiff at times. Look at his lock steps and robot. Underwhelming. It's even more evident when he has back-up dancers. Regarding Kara, I somewhat agree. While they still follow the basic formula, I can see the appeal of their songs and dance moves.

Not a great movie but pretty cool. Very predictable.
