was in vegas and got wayyy fucked up earlier this spring. I think I took down 4 slices at that pizza place in NYNY. The next morning, I woke up to take a shit and it was like passing a football. I was in excruciating pain (and still had 3 days left of the trip). After that I noticed a "protrusion" and was freaking out thinking it was a tumor or colon cancer or something. Needless to say I could hardly walk and was in pain for the rest of my time in vegas. When I got home, I couldn't get to the doctor fast enough and he diagnosed it as a 'roid. No drugs or treatment, just told me to wait a couple weeks, which I did, and it cleared up on its own. Moral of the story - overeating and binge drinking can and will cause 'roids

I had this a few years ago when my diet was shit. Mine literally burst, thank god I was at home but I fucked up the carpet with blood before I could put on one of my wifes maxi pads. We went to a party later that night and I dropped trousers to my best friend to win a bet. Maxi Pad=$50. Heavy since then on whole foods, mostly veggies and fruits, then nuts/grains then meat. Never came back.

I'm sure glad I had my dinner some time before reading this thread....sheesh As for 'pushing too hard' thats constipation, it usually occurs when people neglect their diet in other words - eat the things they like - such as pizza, chinese stir fry, pastries etc all the really good stuff. Fiber is your best solution, even though it takes the body a while to adjust when you include regular amounts of fiber in your diet. It feels like pushing a scourer through your body. Part of my diet Breakfast: muesli/granola or bran cereal with a a healthy splash of flax seed (linseed), sunflower seeds, pepitas (pumpkin seeds), pine nuts, almond flakes - a smothering of honey + spoon ful of plain or vanilla yoghurt + a tea spoon of fibersure (tasteless in food or drink) some people use the metamucil drink. Plus some sliced banana on the top (does nothing for your constipation issues though, but alternately is helpful if you have laxative issuess). Took a while to get into that habit , since in the past I had a bad habit of skipping breakfast and having a big lunch (which is a big mistake in many other ways). Also after dinner, you can always eat a handful of dates, they help keep your system regular. So if you like your pizza and cheese - keep having it - just include the other things in your diet to help balance it out. Also - if you keep having to push - that causes your blood pressure to rise, which in older people or people predisposed can lead to a heart attack (clerks?...hehehe) thats not a way you want to go out. When all you have to do is have some bran friendly cereal or muffin.
