Mark of a true denim head - Page 2

Amen to that. I'm gonna give in and dry clean them already.

I just didn't ::get it:: until last night, washing my hands after day one with my Sugar Canes. It is startling to see the water running so blue off my fingers. Like, am I having an acid flashback?

My girlfriend doesn't ask me anymore why I don't wash my denim.

I think my wife would be less disgusted if I took a shit on our glass coffee table then climbed underneath for a corn inspection, than not wash my jeans.

I took the girl I'm seeing now out for dinner last week and the topic of jeans came up. Me: Yeah, I haven't washed these in about 6 months. Her: Really? Yeah, I think I've maybe washed the jeans I'm wearing now once in the year that I've owned them. How do you think they stay looking so dark? And they're perfectly fine cleanliness-wise. I'd get her into raw if she wasn't so vehemently opposed to paying over $60 for a pair.

I get the "Eww, wash your jeans for once" comments from my friends all the time when I first told them about raw denim.

Now, they never bothered to ask.

Would you feel better if she was the type willing to shell out $300 on some True Religions or Chip n Peppers?

Yikes... borderline ass-vortex, muffintop action here...

I actually might feel better if that were the case. She'd probably then be more interested in quality and having a wardrobe that would set her apart from other girls while remaining an elitest snob.

Yeah, when I tell people about dry denim I tend to sort of omit the not washing bit.
