Ndg style, quality, price - Page 13

The prices on some of the NDG items seem to vary a lot from store to store. The shawl collar cardigan (charcoal) is 'only' around $550.00 here:

http://www.peggsandson.com/brands/nom-de-guerre

I don't know if there would be a further VAT reduction for non-EU orders as well...

Any idea on how NDG outwear is running this year? I wanna grab that parka, but am unsure of the sizing. By the context measurements, it looks like they're back to being true to size? Is that right? Or should I size up still, like I have been doing?

I need a warm winter jacket that isn't bulky, and was considering NdG. I'm just wondering how warm their jackets are. I'm specifically speaking about the Rubberized N2 and the Field Anorak.

the N2 is bulk to the key . heavy! Anorak is heavy too. i recommend the winter field jacket. it's light weight and the material feels great. it provides decent warmth without being too warm...

I should have said I want the jacket to be well tailored, rather than "not bulky". What I mean is, a down jacket for example is bulky, but can still be well tailored. That's what I was thinking when I said the N2 and Anorak.

So you think the N2 and/or Anorak will make for a decent winter jacket? Is the lining on either of those removable? Also what is the lining for the Anorak? It looks like it's not lined with anything from pictures, but the fur trim makes me think it's got something in there to keep you warm.

Also what do you mean by field jacket? Do you mean the M65?

I was also considering Krane's Elliot Anorak, if anyone has an opinion on that, but I just don't think it's going to be warm enough.

what do you mean by "warm"? like over a tshirt warm in 32 degree weather? 10 degree? 0 degree? i had the wool lined m65 and it wasnt warm over just a tshirt below 32 degrees, fwiw

Something that will keep me mildly comfortable with an undershirt and a button down shirt underneath in 32 - 50 degree weather.
