Seriously, for that money, I'd be looking else where. MMM, Jil, etc. NdG have some hot stuff for sure, but they should stop at the $500 price point.

I agree 100%. They really need to move production to the U.S, $150 / barrel oil would have killed Japanese production. I can't see those chucky knits selling out in the U.S ATM, bad as it is at the moment. I'd clean up on sales if I wanted a stack of them. I got the crew and the v neck coming in marled grey / blue, I might get the black / grey cardigan on sale, only at a good price though.

You can get a heavy hand knit 100% wool margiela cardigan for a couple hundred more.

It would be pretty easy to tempt me away from the shawl cardigan. The hooded cardigan, on the other hand, looks plain silly. Looking at it again after I posted, I really don't like shawk necks. I honestly think of labia whenever I see them. It's what stopped me from getting that LVC navy knit.

^ Has been shipping out for two weeks on monday. Royal Mail sucks. Took a week on top of that to get the order through.

Yes, some of the accessories I tried recently are all made in China (has it always been this way?). The 20% nylon blend also seems to be part of nearly all the items (even accessories). Pretty strong odor from the scarves too.

at sale time you can get a winter jacket for 400 bucks. at sale time you could get 2 jackets with better hardware and materials from ralph lauren black label for 400 bucks. you decide. of course, at full price ndg is < rlbl

I'm looking to get a pair of raw classic fits (in indigo) but it looks like most of the previous stockists aren't carrying the denim. Any idea where I can nab a pair or should I just call the NDG store in NYC and have them ship a pair out? Thanks!

ndg jeans are ugly. huge back pockets. w+h is better, dior is best. i think drkshdw has similar fit (at least if i recall ndg fit...)

I don't think the accessories are made in China, the gloves and scarf aren't anyways. The 20% nylon is used for a reason, just like the rayon from last winter. It improves the feel and helps the garment hold shape. It's better with it. I prefer NDG's knit wear to margiela's myself. The cuts, color and general design is just more appealing.
