Advise needed on suit

Greetings, I'm new to this forum, which is logical since I'm also kind of new to serious clothing. I need to have a suit for a short term employment working at a bank. I don't want the suit to be too formal/business-like, so that I can wear it on other occasions as well. Yet it has to be appropriate. Two suits have grasped my attention at Yoox. One has three, the other two buttons; one is from the s/s, the other from the a/w collection; one has unfinished hems, the other open buttonholes; both are quite different in style and maybe somewhat 'daring' qua fabric. I'm not sure about my size: it's probably in between 44e and 46e, xs and s -- so there is a risk while both are only available in 46. I'm also rather thin. Any advise is welcome on style, size, fit and appropriateness. Thanks! 1. Caruso 2. van Noten (in blue)

I would stay away from the "tiny suit" look unless you
intend to replace it in a few years. It will look very dated.
Also, I have no idea what capacity you have in a bank,
but in most banks those in"real management" or who
aspire to rise into it, dress far more conservatively,
and to my mind, in better taste.

If you are at a bank, I would say dress like a banker and get something more conservative than what you are looking at. You can still find something slimmer and more modern than most of your coworkers if you like, but the two you listed are too far in that direction I think.

Neither suit would be best. You need to put your best foot forward, but there is also no need to look like the "OLD" bank president, think smart, sleek, and powerful.

Great advise and very helpfull! I was already sensing I was heading too much into my usual non-pro direction but couldn't quite see it.
