You are right. My bad. Still insane though.

they took delivery of the 458 Challenge at Ferrari of Manhattan today. Holy crap, you'd easily hear it just idle blocks away.

The sound of some of these cars is awesome. Was walking back from st. lawrence market today and a sky blue lambo gallardo roared by. Wasn't a huge fan of the color but what a beast.

Ferrari V8s are pretty unique in their sound. AFAIK, they're the only flat-plane V8s in mass production (such as it is). Almost every other street V8 is a cross-plane, which makes most V8s have that classic burble. Flat cranks have a more screamy character.

Certainly a beautiful Ferrari, but wouldn't be my first choice if i was on the market for one.

F430 Spider + 360 Challenge stradale are the best looking modern Ferraris IMO.

I'm pretty sure I saw one of these in Taipei last week... I remember thinking it was unusual...hadn't seen it before. Either way that is one sick beast....

I love watching the discovery channel special on how these are made.

430 in Spider form is just sexy with the top down.

458 is super fast and is the most daily driveable Ferrari, but its too techy and has no soul
