MOS is great. Must be some sort of fucked up thing in Singapore or something.

Have to agree, MOS is almost as good as head from a 15 year old, better in fact if she has acne.

Not even gonna read any of the replies but In N Out hands down.

Same, but I have a special spot in my heart for well-made Sonic burgers with mustard. I like In N Out but I'm not Californian, and I really do just prefer a mustard/ketchup burger with standard fixings most of the time and Sonic does that plus the fountain drinks for a fair price, in my car. Not the best by far, but hard to top.

I like how some Indians launched a class action against McDonald's when they found out that they used a minuscule amount of beef byproduct to make their fries. Cause you know I have a religious belief and a personal preference not to eat human and would never go to a place that served human burgers for the side items. BTW: I do not believe there is a "Best" but I like Mr. Hero's Romanburger or White Castle.

Whopper Jr. for me; they are only $1 and it's true fast food (often ready in less than a minute).

The entire concept of fast food is that it's built on an assembly line, and often kept warm under heat lamps until ordered. Several McDonald's around here have a clock on the register, which keeps a talley of the 'average time of service' or whatever, which is often less than a minute for me.

5 Guys is not fast food. Certainly not Fuddruckers

can anyone explain the love for 5 guys? fries are good, but its expensive and slow also ELEVATION BURGER

Gotta go with Harvey's.

#2 would be White Castle. Fits the fast, nasty, and greazy qualifications perfectly. Also, should be available 24/7 for drunken/stoned munchies.

Vera's Burger Shack if we're allowed to talk about local chains. I don't think that counts as fast food, though. Fast food should be ubiquitous and have thousands of locations. Limit this thread to BK, Wendy's, McDix, Jack in the Box, A&W, Dairy Queen, Hardy's, Carl's Jr., and maybe one or two I'm forgetting and be specific, otherwise this just turns into another "best burger ever" thread. I enjoy the angry whopper and the flamethrower but I don't eat much fast food.
