Feels like I actually accomplished something after running outside. Even on days with shit weather, I just avoid running before resorting to treadmills.

You can always take your machine outside and go at it. Best of both worlds.

Incomplete discussion. Running on the streets includes the possibility (probably very low) of being hit by a car. Also, it tends to risk skin damage from the elements and breathing in high doses of toxins. The latter can happen indoors, also, but probably not in a health club.
