Anyone have experience sending money via Western Union? - Page 2

Depending on who you are sending the money to (and the $ amount), you could also just send a wire transfer from your bank. Might be slightly more expensive in the end as each intermediary bank charges fees, but if something goes wrong or you need to follow-up on the transfer your bank may be in a better position to help you. Also, the money goes directly into the beneficiary's account, so they don't need to go to the Western Union location to pick it up.

I thought about sending a real telegram via Western Union one time, but then I realized it's not a real telegram anymore It's more like a glorified email I think.

At least American Telegram still delivers real telegrams STOP

I've used Western Union on several occasions to send money within Europe. No problem what so ever and very fast. On the other hand I did trust the person who I sent it to.
